Today marks one incredible year since Kevin, Geoff, and Stuart took over coaching at Cheddar Judo Club. It’s been a year of growth, achievements, and unforgettable memories. Here are just a few of the highlights that made this year so special:

🔹 26 New Players Joined: Our club family has grown stronger and more passionate, with over 26 new committed players across three weekly sessions!

🔹 First Kanji Referee Award: We hosted our very first Kanji Referee Award right here! Huge thanks to our players, local clubs, coaches, Keith Merrick, and the British Judo Association for their amazing support.

🔹 Discount with Fighting Films: We secured a club discount, making top-quality judo gear even more accessible to our members.

🔹 Sponsorship from SKF Aerospace: With their generous support, we expanded and upgraded our mat space, giving our players more room to train and progress.

🔹 Competition & Development Day Support: Watching our players compete, develop, and grow has been a true inspiration. Your hard work and spirit make us proud!

🔹 Capri-Sun Partnership: We were honored to team up with Capri-Sun for promotional sports sessions, helping showcase Judo to the wider community.

🔹 Club-Branded Gear: New club T-shirts and hoodies have helped everyone represent Cheddar Judo Club with pride!

🔹 Special Edition of KOKA Kids Magazine: We brought this special resource to our younger judokas at a discounted rate, helping support their growth on and off the mat.

🔹 Progress Through the Ranks: Above all, seeing so many of you move up through the ranks and develop your skills has been incredibly rewarding.

🔹 Launch of Our Own Website: This year, we proudly launched our official Cheddar Judo Club website! Now, players, parents, and supporters can stay updated on upcoming events, news, and club information all in one place. It’s been a fantastic way to keep everyone connected and informed.
